Hi Neurodivergent people and curious Neurotypical people who want to be involved in this community!
I'm working hard behind the scenes to figure out a sustainable and valuable business model to make changes for Neurodivergent people who want the freedom to express themselves in their own unique and authentic way through their passions and creative projects.
This is a massive vision and I need to start small because in my brain I see so many possibilities (it comes with ADHD) so I find it hard sometimes to understand how to do things and what I need to focus on. I want to focus on everything at once and that's not very sustainable because I want to make sure that this is something that I can do for the rest of my life and to be able to build a community of amazing, skilled and fascinating people who are sharing their visions with each other and collaborating on different projects you need to take it seriously and have the mindset that makes it a reality. That means I need to be delusional and convince myself that everything is possible. It requires a huge amount of energy to ignore my doubts and internal criticism. I try not to let anything get in the way of my vision and I don't care about what people think of me or what they tell me, it's extremely hard to have that confidence and determination. Ableism has made it very hard for us to talk about our struggles because we get invalidated and gaslighted by people who should listen more to what we have to say. We get ignored and abused when we can't live up to their expectations or do things in a way they think we should. We have so many qualities and we can achieve a lot of things but it is hard when we waste energy on explaining our differences. I think we need to have a platform where we don't have to be afrid or ashamed for being Neurodivergent and we can get support while doing what we love and get more knowledge from people who allow us to express ourselves without any filters and want to hear our deepest thoughts. When you create you need to be free and safe, there shouldn't be any restrictions or expectations to worry about. We can talk without having to mask and to change our communication style to make people want to know what we are thinking about. If we want to regulate our nervous system we can't be in hyper vigilant mode and we can fully be unmasked and authentic. It's not easy to let go of the demands we get from society because of survival mechanisms and masking is good sometimes when we feel like it can help us and we don't waste energy but most of the time we should be able to feel free to be ourselves and to trust our instincts.
